Hi! I am eight yrs old. I went to kumbhalgarh many a times.I went on jungle safari on foot(have taken jeep safari as well but) with my parents.GRREEEE .... it was scary at dusk...Heared panther grunts..wild jungle sounds. the forest is dense you can just not feel like its part of rajasthan at places it feels like a rain forest..the kumbhalgarh fort has 36 kms surrounding wall & its the second man made structure after great wall of china seen from satellite..it is lit like a golden pot in massive night lighting.One can have complete family time here as mobile network is missing(thats why my mom loves this place as my dad works in media & is always hooked to his mobile ) & the bad thing is no cable network in hotels.I have also stayed in swiss tents there at dera resorts & a good mid range hotel kumbhalgarh castle which has a nice swimming pool food here is excellent the owner is a cordial guy mr.zhala.for more information on kumbhalgarh ask me on my mail id ishantripathi@hotmail.com
