Writing a travelogue
You can write a travelogue on any of the Indian destination that you've visited and have enough information to cover all the important elements mentioned below.

» Personalised travel experiences
» Good travel photos
» Recommended sights at the places and along the way & and places nearby
» Things to do, recommended food & accommodation
» Reaching there & other info you feel will help a fellow traveller

» The Intro Photo is mandatory (it is the photo that will show beside your Travelogue Title)
» You can upload up to 10 photos in your travelogue, each photo should be less than 500 KB

»To win, your travelogue should have the key elements mentioned above.
» Destination Strength & Information Strength are other two important factors that affect your winning chances.
The Destination Strength captures the ‘uniqueness’ of the main destination your travelogue focuses. (there are only up to 5 travelogues allowed by different participants on the same Destination, but this strength keeps reducing as the Destination repeats).
The Information Strength captures the information value of your travelogue. It takes into account the length of your travelogue, the number of photos you support your story with, how much information you fill in, which will be useful for a fellow travellers - like hotels and other accommodation, how to reach the place, climate, what to pack, best times to go etc. and then displays a value. » Asking your Friends & fellow members to Vote and Comment on your travelogues, is always good for popularity.

A Contestant can upload unlimited entries. However, they should be about separate journeys to separate destinations. More FAQs. In any particular week, no more than 3 entries by one particular contestant can be short-listed.

Short-listed entries for the week (inclusive of the Weekly winners) Qualify to be judged for Mega Prize by the Panel of judges, Site Editors & another Independent group of 25 active travellers. It is not necessary that the Mega Prize winners should be from among the weekly winners.

Remaining entries of the week will carry forward to the next week. If suitable entries are not found for any particular week, no winner shall be declared for that week. There has to be a minimum of 7 entries to declare a winner, though a shortlist may be declared.

» All entries should be the Original work of the Participant.
» Only entries on places in India would be eligible while selecting the Winners.
» All submitted entries will have joint copy rights of Contestant and OkTataByebye.com, its promoters.
» The contest is not open to the employees of OkTataByebye.com.
» Decisions announced on OkTataByebye.com will be final and no requests/complaints will be entertained once the winners are announced.
» Panel of Judges, Site Editors and the Independent traveler group will have the right to graduate entries on the merit of the travelogue to the Top 10% or Top 40 group (whichever is lower), who will then be contesting for the Mega Prize.
» OkTataByebye.com reserves the right to cancel or postpone the contest if circumstances demand.
» In case of copy right violation or any damage arising out of content submitted on the site as part of the contest - OkTataByebye.com, its promoters, partners and sponsors won’t be liable for any legal or punitive action - the onus for that will be on the participant.
» * Travel Vouchers are redeemable against Air Tickets & Holiday packages on makemytrip.com valid for domestic travel only.
» Prizes/ awards of either nature Cash or kind are not interchangeable or transferable.
» Any legal initiation will be subject to the jurisdiction of the New Delhi Courts.
