 When the Central Park of Connaught Place was taken over by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation in 2001 for undertaking Metro construction there,many of us wondered how it will look after completion of Metro Work.Today lush green lawns, an amphitheatre,newly planted trees,some old trees,shrubs, fountains and a water cascade which would truly make it a landmark in itself.

It situated above the Rajiv Chowk Metro station, the park has been developed and beautified by DMRC based on world-class standards to provide visitors to Connaught Place a perfect place to sit, relax and enjoy the surroundings.

To celebrate Gandhi Jayanti Delhi Tourism sponsored  a  program organised by  Dept Of Art And Culture and Sahitya Kala Parishad.Anchored by Smt Sadhna Srivastav.

Starting Of Gandharb Maha Vidyalaya at Connaught Place By Pandit Vinay Chandra Mudgal when there was no music classes in 1939,Baal Vrind is part of that school.Ms.Sawani Mudgal direct the  1st song from Rik Veda  followed by some patriotic songs.
