Things to do in Wayanad
Trekking in Wayanad

Wayanad is trekkers delight. Though it doesn’t have any linear trek route like you’ll find in the Himalayas; instead, the routes are fragmented into small one-day treks and walks that take a few hours. One of the common treks that many adventure enthusiasts opt for is the one starting from Sulthan Bathery, east of Edakkal. One can take a circuitous trip through the south via Meenmutty and Soochipara waterfalls, climb Chembra Peak, cover Lakkidi and Vythiri in the west, get to the central headquarters of Kalpetta and then head north to Thirunelly and Pakshipathalam. Take this only if you’ve sufficient time (this may take 6-7 days) else you may do the small stretch and head back to your resort.
