Not many venture into this remotest outpost of India that goes by the name of Andaman & Nicobar Islands. But those who do are blessed by an experience that is hard to find elsewhere. Andaman & Nicobar Islands is an archipelago of 572 islands, situated 1000 kilometers of the east coast of India in the Bay of Bengal.

Andaman and Nicobar Islands is a union territory of India, with Port Blair as its capital. Of all the 572 islands only 38 are permanently inhabited. Once upon a time these islands were used as an isolated prison for the fighters of Indian Independence, but the winds of change swept through these islands soon after independence and they became a favourite haunt of the discerning traveller looking for a unique experience in the sea.
